Apartment Review for Carvalho-Stanich - Sacramento, CA

We lived at these apartments for only a short period of time. The manager was completely unorganized and had a bad attitude. She was never around when we tried to reach her, and she seemed to single us out for "noise", which was usually only as loud as our normal speaking voices in the brief moments that we were walking past her door to reach our apartment. However, the neighbors across the hall blast music all morning long EVERYDAY, and they never seem to get reprimanded. The manager failed to preform a walk in to our apartment, and when we were moving in, she was not available to take our paperwork. She blatantly lied about the number of annoying, screaming children in the building (and yet we get scolded for having conversations as we walk in?) who apparently have free reign of the hallway. The plumbing (including the shower, faucets, and toilet) are noisy, as is any other appliance that is provided by management. My fridge still had food in it from the previous tenants when we got here! Parking is a nightmare! The first day we moved in our neighbor warned us that her car had been broken into the night before! There are no specific parking spaces, but if you park outside of the imaginary "lines" you will be sure to hear about it. Also, several cars (including my own) were keyed within our first month. There are bums constantly raiding the dumpsters in the neighboring complex, making the unlit-back-alley parking lot very unsafe. Also, there are condoms plastered to the parking lot floor and all over the alley. i cant really think of any pluses, other than at least the roof didn't leak and the neighbors (who don't hold the door open if they don't know you) and front and back door locks made the inside of the building very safe.
