Apartment Review for Logan Park - Sacramento, CA

I moved in July of 2009. The staff was friendly and Warren was very nice. I'm on Section 8 and when I was suppose to move in, I had not received any paperwork from my section 8 to let me know how much my rent was. I already paid my depost which was $400. Warren let me go ahead and move in without having to pay my first months rent. However when I was put into my apartment, Raylene took me to the apartment and didn't even do a proper walk through. She had me sign the paper and didn't even let me look around to find problems with the place. I had roaches for almost the first 2 weeks I was there. They sprayed it 3 times and they finally started going away. It was a pain for a long time. Since I have been there, we have had problems in the area. There was a shooting of a young boy down the street and he was killed. There are helicopters there everyday seems like. Now that I have been there for a while the people in the office aren't as nice as when you try to move in. The apartments across the way had police all over the place because someone had stolen a car and went into the apartment holding someone hostage. They eventually got him out but it called for a lot of attention at our apartments. Nobody was allowed to leave till the situation was over.
